Travis Little spoken word artist/emcee As my eyes crossed the room at "The Den", a somewhat strange quirky guy with his own definition of fashion stepped to me and introduced himself as Travis Little. I immediately got a strong vibe from him, of peace and bliss in his own right. He stepped on stage and spoke with such a presence and a grace that it took my breath away. This New Orleans native reminds me of myself, full of energy, has ambition and is beyond crazy. With his release Book of Cipher, I found myself playing "Dont Wast Time" on repeat, his line "I guess im a fish in a pond nigga thats Michael Phelps, even on a team im swimming by my fucking self" played in my head over and over.Born June 17, 1990 is a New Orleans singer, musician, poet and dancer.Poetry attended Abney Elementary, where he wrote his first poem and preformed it at his graduation ceremony. Giving him his first taste of spoken word. He later attended St. Augustine HS taking up his passion of music while playing trumpet in the famous "Marching 100 Band". There he learned about the great music of jazz and the art of musicianship. In college he help co-found "P.O.E. People" (Putting Out Expressive People) at Southeastern Louisiana University. Which has put on many performance around colleges, high schools, and charity benefit parties. He later moved to NYC (where he was born) To follow his dream in spoken word and music. Since then, he has quickly become a rising star in the poetry community and has vowed to " Not stop till I'm satisfied."
